Hello,
I work for BBC Current Affairs in the department which comes up with new documentary ideas. We've a history of making sensitive, thought provoking films about pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood. You may have seen Kizzy: Mum at 14, which we produced.
We're now really interested in making a programme about tokophobia - a condition which seems to affect many, many women. Can you tell us in your own words how debilitating it can be?
We hope to follow women who would would desperately like to start a family, but are held back by the fear of childbirth and pregnancy. Or maybe that was you - but you've bitten the bullet and are now going for it?
You can contact me at [email protected]
Thanks.
