Does anyone use these bottles? Im using the tommee tippee closer to nature ones atm but Leo hangs onto his wind for dear life! Just wondering if anyone has any experience of them?
Annabelle did the same with those bottles hun and when she did burp she would throw up the whole bottle. i didnt buy the anti colic ones i just went to dr browns and she was like a different baby almost immediately Lou xxx
archie was on the ctn bottles and was always full of wind..i switched to avent and hes fine now i did buy some dr browns but found when i put them in a jug of hot water to warm them the milk shot up the tube and leaked everywhere i dunno if i was doing something wrong but personally i didnt like them and he still got wind with them
I tried the TT ones as we got them free with the steriliser and I hated them, I went right back to Dr Browns I love them. x
I use the tommee tippee ones and have the ctn and anti-colic teats. Lexie nuch prefers the anti colic ones and refuses to drink from the ctn vari-flow! x
Brooke had the CTN bottles but hated them. They made her wind really really awful and she also found them really tricky to latch onto as the nipple was soooooooo big. I switched to the new bottles by the first years-Breastflow I think? She's much better-they're fantastic!!
Thanks girls. I think I am going to switch to dr.browns bottles. Another question though...which dr browns teats do I use? He is on the CTN vari-flow teats and he has quite a strong suck. Also hes on C&g Comfort milk which is thicker than avearge milk.....2 or 3?
i use a mixture of tt ctn and advent ones emily prefer the advent ones and like the others have said she brings up wind much better with the advent bottles but she seems to go to the toilet with the tommee tippee ones lol everytime! obviously better at bringing things down rather than up! xx
i moved to level 2 teats but Annabelle has always been a slow drinker, if i got faster flow think it would have just choked her everytime they do another teat not sure if its called a y teat, not to sure what that is used for though i find also if i heat my bottles they kind of squirt water, i just slightly unscrew the top to release the pressure and now they are fine! Lou xxx
i do like these bottles. however not very convenient for night feeding as you have to take the colic valve out and prat around so i use avent airflex on a night with 3m+ teats and leo is great on them
I was using Tommee Tippee CTN bottles and Ollie developed colic so changed to the Tommee Tippee Anti colic ones and find them brilliant, Ollie is so much better and always brings his wind up straight away. Take care XX
My friend is using them for her little girl and finding they are working very very well. Toby is using Dr Brown's on level 3 teats as the TT teats (size 2) are now to slow for him! xxx
