I already feel a bit daft, but I'm going to see what anyone else makes of this....
It's fairly clear on all the guidelines that pg women aren't meant to have too much vitamin A, and certainly shouldn't being taking a supplement, as it is harmful to your bubba.
Well I've just been having a little google about cravings and genders, for a bit of fun, and just happened to read on a non-pg website that certain cravings could mean you may have certain deficiencies - fair enough - one food of which came up was nectarines. I HAVE BEEN EATING NECTARINES TIL THEY'VE BEEN COMING OUT OF MY EARS, no joke, I go through punnets and punnets of the things.
It turns out though that it is a common craving because they are one of the richest sources of beta carotene, which I've just discovered is Vitamin A!
Now I'm worried that all the good work I've done trying to make sure bubba has the best start, has been undone by me bombarding the poor little mite with excesses of vitamin A...
