Tooth Fairy question

What is the rate your "Tooth Fairy" pays? DS believes the TF, but DD1 and 2 we are not telling them.
The 1st tooth, DS didnt get any coins- i didnt know what to do
The 2nd this weekend, he got 50c.

I used to get $1 when I was growing up. I might look at giving her $2 for a tooth to account for inflation.

I got 50p to a £1 for mine. I think my Lo will get £1 or £2 depending on the value of money at the time

We asked one of my friend's daughter (who is 8) how much the tooth fairy pays - we were talking about her teeth anyway randomly - she said "At mummy's she brings me £2 but at daddy's she only brings me £1". I thought it was quite sweet that she didn't see a problem with that, I think mummy and daddy (who broke up some time ago) should really co-ordinate, mummy is clearly paying too much!
