Toothache think maybe an abcess should i go hospital?

hi everyone,

i mentioned earlier on in week had toothache hasnt been to bad at beginning of week,ive had to reg with a new dentist cant see them till tuesday.Now i'm in heaps of pain my left side jaw is inflammed,tooth hurts,ive pain in my ear and dont know whether should go to the walk in centre or wait till tuesday?

i've read hormones can cause things to flare up in pregnant women and i think in my case it has,i still got the shopping to do today and dont wana both the O/H to take me to the hospital.

If you phone nhs direct they will get you an appointment for today, just explain how bad it is and they will get you an appointment within the next 2 hours or so

I've also been suffering with toothache during my pregnancy so I have total sympathy x

I had an abcess when i was carrying kacey. I was around 30 weeks and was in agony. Had no dentist so was seen by an emergency one. !st appointment i had to have antibiotics and then week later they took the tooth.

Get an emergency appointment! I had an abcess a while back and the longer you leave it the more agony you will be in!!
