Well I've had a pretty pants day with my 2 toddlers and I'm now looking around the articles on Momtastic. I have to share this one with you, I think it's pretty funny ... made me laugh. :haha: first time today I think!

Read the top 6 pet peeves HERE!

What are your pet peeves in the parenting world?
Do you relate to any of these?
Any funny stories to share?

Number 1 is so so so annoying but does anyone else do/have done this with their partner "Daddy I have a dirty nappy and Mummies going for a bath now" haha!

4 is true but my biggest peeve about restaurants who offer children's meals is they come with adult sized forks, knives and spoons! Now I know my girl's have some shout on them but some child friendly cutlery would be GREAT or would you like them to use their fingers

people always do no.5 with my boy. Yes he's tall and clever but he can't tell you the capital of England and what 4+9 is!

Have you really had people ask those questions?

My youngest isn't talking very well still at the moment and when people ask most questions I get a little narky when they know.

Number 5 is one of mine.

Katie is soooo tall, she could pass for 4 but when she speaks you can clearly tell that she is 2 or when she is in the buggy people look at me like i have a teenager strapped it :grr:

How tall is she hun?

I love how number 5 shows where the adult asking the daft question gets it wrong anyway

I was gonna write 'That big'

Last check (May 11) she was 97 cm :)

That would have been helpful

LOL @ 'E'.

Well I've not come on for 'general' chatter for ages, you think I might look scary being nice and making normal convo?

General chatter is fab.

Non Admin Mummy Wobbs rocks :)

Admin Wobbs is scary :argh:

 love that!
I hate when I order Daisy's food and it arrives at a million degrees. Macaroni and molten lava is not good. Even less so when you're trying to defend your own meal.
I hate 10 year olds in the toddler area at soft play, some kids were moaning that Daisy was too slow, I recommended they GET OUT OF THE BABY AREA!

Defending your own when yours is colder than theirs?

I'm the same about the oler kids until I look at my youngest and she takes no messing :haha:

Haa I forget typing doesn't sound like how I'm saying it! I share of course. Unless Ive got something extra nice, then I swap her for seconds. They always bring her back after a while though

Oh I don't share my meal :muaha: lol

Who brings her back? Now I'm confused because your first one didn't sound wrong

Urgh i hate it when they bring out really hot toddler food on a hot plate and put it infront of River! Real bright idea that..its not like shes going to complain its not warm enough and send it back to the kitchen.

Older kids in soft play knocking River about...i swear ive been close to pushing them down (im talking 8+ here)

Getting on the bus and having some idiot look at me as if to say "you want me to get up dont you?" of course i do twat your in the buggy bay and there are plenty of other seats!

People who say "ooo shes big isnt she?" like its a bad thing

People who contradict me when i see River is tired/hungry/grumpy

When people look at Rivers amber necklace and say "oh what a nice necklace....." when they are actually saying "WHY is she wearing a necklace"

Basicly people are my pet peeve :D

 I thought you were taking me literally! I mean the staff bring her back when I try to use her as payment for my meal. Nice plan, but no. dont get where I'm going wrong!

Kala I hate the bus thing too! I just demand people move now. I'm going to get a tank instead of a buggy next time, then I can just mow them down
People always say about Daisy 'ooh isnt she bonny' I'm on the edge of telling some poor old woman to shut up  God I'm a crank when I think about it!

Oh and when people look at me with Willow in the ergo and River in pushchair and say "youv got your hands full there luv". I get this at least once when im out with them and when i have the 2 dogs with me pretty much everyone i pass over the age of 30 says it to me.

Oh that annoys me too! And when the mums know they shouldn't be in there but do nothing to get them out! grrr!
