Anyone else here suffering from trapped wind? I've got it really bad at the moment, had it since around 9pm and nothing I do is relieving it!! I tried just going to sleep but it's woken me up  so I am now sat in the bath at almost 2 in the morning hoping the heat will help ease the pain atleast.

Does anyone know anything I can do to get rid of it so to speak

Also, silly question, but I'm in too much pain to think straight, can someone please reassure me my baby will be ok even though I have had trapped wind pains for so long?

Grrr can't believe a bit of wind has made me feel like this

Aww...the only thing that works for me is moving around...and sometimes drinking hot tea will help... and don't worry..baby is fine. :hugs:

I lay back and rub my tummy in a clockwise downward motion...if it's wind after a while of rubbing your tummy will start gurgling and you'll feel it move. It can take a while so be patient to begin with!

Im the same as you I find if I have trapped wind to walk around rubbing tum in a clockwise downward motion always works for me

When I get trapped wind (which is a fair bit) I'll have a warm cup of tea, rub my stomach clockwise to help ease the wind down a bit, stand up straight, relax my stomach and let rip lol. It ranges from a silent but violent to full on buttock wobbler......if it's the latter I usually end up crying with laughter :D
