Someone has bought us the Baby Dan travel cot. Looks quite sturdy and good size and collapses quite small. Will prob need an extra mattress in it as the one it comes with is very thin but we'll only be using it for 1 or 2 nights at a time at grandparents' houses.

i went with one called phill and teds t2, its the lightest one on the market so good for flights and what not. If your just after one for local trips though maybe something cheaper as these are about 200 each and not necessary to spend that much if you just want it for local.

I bought a hauck one for £26 from Tesco. I wasn't expecting much for the price but it looks nice and sturdy once up and should be perfect for what we need it for. HTH x
