Travel for IVF???

Anyone considered traveling abroad for IVF??? I live in the US and IVF is outrageous over here 12,000 USD + I applied for a sholarship but if I dont get selected then I am considering goin abroad for treatment. Mexico is very inexpensive and relatively close. Cost there is around 6000 USD with Meds. Only need to stay two weeks so thinking it could be a vacation plus IVF at the same time. We have a time share in Mazatlan and they have an IVF clinic there.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. Prices in US and UK are exhorbitant. There are so many 5-star hospitals and fertility clinics worldwide that provide excellent IVF/ICSI treatments at much cheaper prices because the cost is so much lower.

I live in a '3rd-world country' as ranked by America but we have world-class facilities here. He has a number of foreign patients too. Currently, his success rate is almost 70% at a patient's first cycle, which to me is really high.
