TTC #1 in my 30s. Anyone else?

Hi all! I used to be on some ttc forums years ago and I remember how amazing it was to have a support system during the process. Just wanted to introduce myself and give some background info.
I'm almost 34, been with BF for almost 2 years (we're planning on getting married eventually, but I've already been there, done that so there's no hurry). We just started ttc last cycle, but I tried for 7 years with my ex so I'm no newbie.
I have lpd (lp usually lasts 8-10 days) which makes conception less likely but the reason my ex and I never conceived was because of his severe mfi. There's no reason to suspect BF has any issues.
Currently in the 2ww, AF is due next wednesday but I feel like she's just around the corner. No symptoms that can't be tied to pms or this ear infection.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Looking forward to talking to you all and cheering each other on.

YAY! Welcome. I'm new(ish) here myself. I'll be 31 at the end of this month and hubby and I have been together for 11 years but just got married in May. We sadly suffered a miscarriage in July (d&c on August 2), so we are eager to get back to TTC once my cycles return to normal. We were blessed to conceive right away last time, only took 2 months and the first month we were in Spain on out honeymoon and more NTNP than actually trying.

I'm waiting for AF to return also...cautiously hoping the end of this month and returning to my normal 28 day cycle but I know MC messes with your body. I am still getting a VVVVFL on HPTs from residual hormones so I hope that goes away in the next couple of days.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! Hopefully your cycles get back to normal soon - and soon after that, a sticky bfp and happy healthy little one. Did they give you anything to coax AF if she doesn't show by the end of the month?

Belated congrats on the marriage though! I know you guys have been together a while, but that newlywed bliss is still fun

Thank you Noelle! We've been tested in our first few months of marriage but we've held strong together. You're right that the newlywed bliss is fun. Hubby loves TTC as it means lots of lovin' for him hahaha!

They told me to just wait it out... sadly it can take awhile for AF to return (2-8 weeks is normal). If it's not back by October I'm to go see my doctor. I had some cramps earlier this week and I cautiously hope that was maybe ovulation or just my uterus returning to normal. FX! Thank you for your kind words. Hoping for sticky BFP for us both soon!!

Im new to the posting but my husband and I have TTC for about a year. Im 35 and while everything looks good from the fertility specialists standpoint Im definitely a bit nervous about how things will play out in the real world. I don't know how you managed TTC for 7 years. I think I would have gone insane

Ttc # 1 for 15 years. I have 3 beta Hsd, a very rare form of CAH. As well as PCOS. Clomid resistant. But I did ov 2 cycles by taking 7.5mg of Femara on cd 3-12. No bfp. Due to the 3 beta my lining seems to never get above a 4. In febuary i started af and it continued through the end of may. Had an endometrial biopsy and everything came back fine. My af suddenly stopped 2 days later and havent had another one since. I am begining to get very frustrated.

I love reading these forums, so informative, so I thought I'd go ahead and join now. I'm a big reader, after everything I've been through, I tend to read-up and research a lot now so that I understand what's going on.

Of course, our first official try, is during this damn hurricane. We don't live anywhere that we got more than just a bunch of rain from it, but my mother who is a a whimp when it comes to storms, decided she had to come stay with us because she's convinced herself her neighbors tree was going to fall on her house. It's been frustrating to say the least...
We snuck in a few BDs, and this morning, a huge bbt temp dip. This is my first time temping, so not entirely sure what that is all about.

Love this thread Most of my friends had kids in their 20s so I'm a bit alone TTC for 1st baby in my 30s.

I'm 34, TTC 3 1/2 years, with several chemical pregnancies. Normal fertility testing results for both of us (actually mine got better between ages of 31 and 33, including ovarian reserve, so much for it going down after 32!) and no reasons for chemical pregnancies, all tests came back fine. My husband is also in his early 30s.

I'm trying alternative medicine currently and diet: improving my diet and Vitex have made my cycles better in the past 2 months, and since May, when I changed my diet significantly (basically I eat otherwise vegan and mostly gluten-free, which I make myself from vegan cookbooks, and then add either eggs or fish once a day for animal protein, iron and other nutrients, no dairy), I have more energy and more fertile cervical mucus. Unfortunately I still get some digestive issues although they are a lot better when I'm strict to cut out gluten and wheat and alcohol and do acupuncture regularly. This last period was the first with no PMS at all which was nice. If this doesn't work it'll be IUIs or IVF once we've worked out the money side of things. I'm also still a few pounds overweight which I'm working to lose in the next month or so.

Has anyone else had good experiences of diet changes? Or exercise?

I tuned 30 a week ago, so I am officially in this boat. This is our third cycle TTC. AF is due today/tomorrow. Will test on Wednesday if she doesn't show. I have no symptoms of anything, so I couldn't tell you one way or the other.

Hi all! First time at any forum, I'm 32 and ttc after a MC last month(first try). I am currently at 30 CD, 7 DPO, O'ed on 23 CD, AF is 3 days late. Temp is rising and plateau at 98, not sure what any of this mean since MC throws the cycle off. Maybe I'm just late?

Hey stay strong and hopeful. One of my colleague was 42 when she conceived and she tried acupuncture and now recommends acupuncture to anyone who's having trouble conceiving. Best of luck to you!

I am 41 (just turned 41 the other day) and TTC #1. We've been married for 12 years and never prevented but never tried either (long story). In cycle 4, first cycle using temps and OPK, and in the TWW.

Hi everybody, I'm 33 and TTC #1. Hubs and I have been together for almost 11 years, married 3. Glad to know I'm not only one 30+ here. Most people I know who want kids had them before they turned 30 so feeling a bit alone on my journey here. Also, most were oopsies or "we stayed pregnant on the 1st try" and here I am, 1 year of NTNP and now on cycle #3 of TTC and still nothing. Hope we'll all see our sticky soon!

Keeping my fingers crossed Just ordered bunch of OPKs & pregnancy tests yesterday from ebay. Never used OPKs before, so hoping that might help. I had bunch of pregnancy tests last year and POS like crazy every month, even the ones I knew I totally missed my fertile window. TTC really makes us little bit crazy, doesn't it?
