I'm on CD 1 today, anyone want to be buddies??

A little background on me...
DH and I have been married for 4 years (together for 9), NTNP. So I'm a little worried about TTC, which we're starting this coming cycle. I feel like it should have happened already by accident

I regularly have spotting a few days before my period (started 1.5 years ago), so I'm a little worried this has something to do with never getting pregnant. I have a 30 day cycle. I had a 18-24cd progesterone test on cd20, and it was normal. But my spotting usually begins around cd27-28. Should I pressure my GYN to test this later in my cycle? Has anyone else had spotting before AF and gotten a BFP?

DH will be going for a SA soon just to rule that out.

I'm trying to go into this with a positive outlook. I plan on charting and using OPK (CB digital fertility monitor). I should be seeing AF any minute now, and I just can't wait to start trying! DH is super excited too

I'm a little worried about temping, cuz I've tried it in the past and I kept missing days because I get up at different times each day (between 5am and 8am) due to work) and I'm not a morning person LOL. Any tips on how to be better at this? I used FF before but it was kind of annoying to have to enter my info each day, so I'm thinking of trying paper this time around. Anyone else write out their own chart?

Anyone else going to be on a similar cycle to me? Stay in touch. Baby dust to all!!

PS. I'm hoping to get my BFP before the holidays, so I will have an announcement to make :D xx crosses fingers xx

Hello!
I've been with my DH for 8 years, married nearly 2 years and are ttc #1. My situation is a little different to yours since I have got PCOS and am not regular at all. I am on CD 8 today though and hoping to have some luck with acupuncture bringing the length of my cycles down. He wants to get me to a 28 - 30 day cycle, which would be a real novelty!

I also spot before AF, but usually only 1 day before. I don't know if spotting 3 days before would be a problem or not. I would definitely bring it up with your doctor, just to put your mind at rest at the very least.

I chart my temps too and to be honest I never take it at the same time! I just take it when I wake up. As long as you've had at least 3 hours decent sleep it should be ok. I have found it still works. When I first started I was using paper but was hopeless! My graph was all over the place! So I switched to FF. I'm on a computer all day for work so it's easy for me to keep track. Do you have a thermometer that remembers the last reading? Mine does so I just take it, go back to sleep then check it again when I'm properly awake. I was all over the place with it when I started, but I stuck at it and am glad I did. I've got a good idea of what my pre-O and post-O temps are and that's really useful with PCOS.

I'm also trying to stay positive - got my hopes up last cycle and was so upset when I got a bfn :( But this month I really want to try and stay upbeat, after 2 losses I find it's quite easy to get low about it all and I'm sure that doesn't help. So yeah let's try and stay happy :)

Good luck with test results etc and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your bfp xx

Welcome. I don't know if spotting is something to be concerned about or not. I have heard of women taking a vitamin B complex to help with spotting before a period and it works. Maybe it's something to try.

I have been using fertility friend for awhile now and I have discovered what my problem is so I suggest using it. I have pretty much learned every thing there is to know about charting so if you ever need any help I'm always around. TTC has been my life lately.

I'm on cycle day 7, but would love to be buddies.

I wish you lots of luck and I'm sending you tons of baby :dust:
