Hey everyone,

I haven't been on this site for a little while but needed a little chat. A little back story: I'm 28, my husband is 33. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 2 and a half years now. I have had cysts on both ovaries for years which messed up my cycles, and last year we found out my husband has low count, motility, and his DNA fragmentation is of concern (so we have been seeing a fertility specialist)

In the summer I was pretty much told that having a baby on our own would be next to impossible so we would probably have to resort to IVF in the future. 2 weeks later I found out I was actually pregnant. I ended up losing the baby around 7 or 8 weeks which was devastating. Fast forward to today, and I just had a cystectomy to take my cysts out (which actually went well and did not damage my ovaries at all despite stressing and all of my fears about it!)

Has anyone gone through the laparoscopic surgery for cyst removal? How long did it take for you to feel normal again and for the horrible shoulder pain to go away? I'm so anxious to start trying again but I know it might take a while before being able to.

Thanks ladies!
