Hi folks! I haven't posted in aaaaages (not since I was pregnant with my first I think) but I am getting a bit desperate. Currently on cycle 9 after my first was conceived first time! I am starting to freak out that something is wrong and was just wondering if anyone was in the same boat? Or if second/subsequent babies took much longer but you did eventually conceive with no problems?

This scares me! I conceived #1 very quickly as well, AND just coming off bcp (2nd cycle). I am now 1st cycle TTC after bcp and am 4 DPO. Im so paranoid!!! Im scared months and months will go by and nothing will happen.

It was very easy to conceive my 1st also and I'm currently on cycle 6 ttc#2. I am getting very frustrated and ready to give up. I know it will happen when it's supposed to, but I'm getting impatient.

I guess i'm nervous because with #1 I was only temping (starting with the 2nd cycle, which is when i got pregnant). I want even really paying attention to any pattern on my temp chart, and wasnt impatient about testing or anything, and I think I ended up testing 17 DPO, possibly even later than that as I wasnt doing OPK or CM on my chart so FF guessed my O the best they could. I am scared that me being so OCD about it this time that my body just wont conceive! I can see I O'd this cycle, and I BD at good times so I have done all I can so I try not to obsess but its hard!

Same here ladies. I conceived my first on first try. And somehow I fear that it would take long time to conceive again. It's my first month actually trying though. Let's just hope we get our bfp asap. Baby dust to all of us.

Hope for all of us to get bfp soon too! Its weird because some days I feel very confident but other days I have doubts!

So glad to see this post. Only took four months to get DD (after 10+ years on birth control too) and I am on month 7 TTC #2. Starting to put me into a depression :( I'm going to acupuncture and changing my diet this month. Hope it's finally our month.

First DS was conceived after a few months of trying. DS2 was ONE time he didn't pull out. Now I am TTC #3 with my husband (2 kids are from a previous relationship), we got pregnant the first month, but it ended in miscarriage.....We are on cycle 9 and haven't conceived since :( Husbands SA was totally normal. SIGH

I'm sorry to hear you guys are struggling too :hugs: it's driving me insane. All of my mum friends are having/have had their second and everyone keeps asking me when we'll have one  this is the hardest thing I've ever done!

Is everyone charting and using OPKs?

Yes, you name it and I've done it. Charting, OPKs, acupuncture, Vitex, Vitamin B/B6, progesterone cream, chinese herbs.. etc :( This month am changing my diet and on new herbs and going to a new acupuncturist. Hope this is it!

I don't chart, I've tried but my wake up times are just too erratic with my toddler. I use cheapy OPKs and Clearblue digital, although I'm having a month off this month as it was all getting too much and I needed a break.

My temp times are also very inconsistent. I wake frequently in the night, and barely ever have 5 straight hrs, but whatever time it is when I wake up, as long as its been at least 3 straight hrs, I will temp. I have a lot of open circles on my chart because of it, but you can still see that my chart is biphasic so it still works for me

I've tried OPKs, preseed, soft cup, DTD every day, DTD every OTHER day, had a check up with on OB/GYN, took prenatals, maca root, gave my husband fertility pills and maca.....I drank fertility tea....I've tried not "doing" anything or keeping track of anything...Made my husband get a SA (which is normal)....I even refused to be on birth control for the past few years so that my body would be prepared for when we did want to TTC. I am over it

It sucks. But, hey gals it will happen one day. fx.

I use temping. I know it is difficult to with toddler not stn. But, I do get biphasic pattern and know when I ovulate.

I use opks, temp and preseed when needed. We tried smep but dh couldn't handle it and when I really needed him he couldn't do it. He works crazy shifts and ridiculous hrs sometimes so I don't blame him. We try dtd every other day or every 2 days starting a week or so b4. Softcups scare me. Idk what else to do.

Just wanted to pop in and say don't lose hope!!
Our first was a surprise!
Our second, we had been trying and temping and I went to the Dr after 8 months and she started doing some tests. Progesterone, thyroid, and a post-coital all came back normal. After ten months of trying, I was scheduled for an ultrasound the next morning, to check for endometriosis, a blockage, whatever, and boom! Bfp! It was really fun calling in that morning to cancel my test and schedule my first prenatal visit.
All that to say, sometimes second babies take a little longer. Try not to lose hope! :hugs:

:hugs::hugs: This is just about where I am. Doctor said next step is to do a HSG if I want to. I just took a mini family vacation, got an 80 min massage to help me relax and started seeing a therapist (to relieve my stress). LOL I am telling myself that I am "done" trying. I have heard that is when BFP's happen!!!

Cycle 4 here, our son was a complete surprise! I thought it'd be easy to get #2. :(

I think I'm done trying also. The stress of timing and failed cycle after failed cycle has really taken a tool. Plus, I want to enjoy sex again.
