    Hi ladies

looking to see if there are any ladies out there that have fallen pregnant and had a healthy baby naturally at 43 or over.

I am 42 have been ttc for 8 months nearly and had a chemical in April and a miscarriage in June.
Just found out I am out again this cycle and feeling very deflated.

just looking for positive stories of women that are over 42.. I turn 43 a week b4 Christmas.

would like to add I had my son just over a year ago and fell with him on month 11 after having 4 chemical pregnancies In 7 months.

    Hi Suggerhoney,

I was 42 years and 4 months old when I became pregnant with my first born son...naturally with only taking supplements. No complications during pregnancy, all genetic testing cleared, I turned 43 and 9 days later he was born perfectly healthy (carried to full term but doc induced due to my advanced age). He is now 13 almost 14 months and thriving!

Now at 44, I'm hoping we can create a sibling for him...naturally with supplements again.

    Hello hello.
So I started this thread ages ago now.
    But will update
We started ttc in the end from feb 20th this year.
I fell in April and had a chemical pregnancy.
And I fell again end of May but sadly miscarried in June.
I’m now just about to enter cycle number 11 ttc and I turn 43 on Saturday. Saturday 17th December.
I have not fallen pregnant agian at all since I fell at the the end of May with the one I lost.
Tbh love I’ve lost hope now.
I fear it’s never ever going to happen.
    Praying it does.
I pray you get to have another babe to love.
You should come join the December testing thread in the 2ww section.
There will be a jan testing group up soon.
But everyone is so lovely there and so supportive.
There’s is another lady there too who has just turned 45 and trying.
We would all love to have you. Way more active than here.

    Hello :hi:

Wonder if there's anyone still actively trying in this thread?
I'm turning 47 years this year... and still have this tiny hope in my head that maybe we'd be able to have a sibling to my son.
My DH is 6 years younger than I am, so he's in a "normal" age but I do feel like I'm truly over the hill already..:sad2:

We are not going to try ivf or anything, just going naturally. I know..
What I have done lately is that I started taking Royal Gelee capsules. We'll see if any progress comes with those. My ovulation did became 2 days earlier this cycle (cd12), maybe that helped:shrug:

    Hi ladies
Good to see others that are older.
    Unfortunately I am still ttc.
We have been trying for a year now and I’m now 43 years old.
I did fall last April but it was a chemical pregnancy.
And then I fell again end of May but sadly lost in June.
Then after that I had nothing but BFN. Then I got another BFP this month Feb 2023 but sadly was a 3rd loss.
Now cd9 and waiting for ovulation.
Praying this cycle will be my sticky rainbow BFP cycle but tbh Feel hopeless.
It really feels like it’s never going to happen.
I’m taking lots of supplements and some new ones this cycle and praying they help me get my sticky forever BFP.

rooting for all you ladies too.
Sending so much sticky baby dust over all of us :dust:

Sorry for so many losses :-(
Are you on progesterone after ovulation? Seems you do get preggers quite "easy" just to have it stick.
I'm actually on progesterone, though I do not have any issues with my lutheal phase.
I'm on 10 dpo today but :bfn:

I am so sorry to know about your losses. Have you tested ovarian reserve, sperm quality, and genetics (karyotyping?) Some time back I came across the article by Dr Marilyn Glenville on how to improve nutrition to prevent mcs (the article) mentioning 3-month rule, controlling weight, inflammation, and much more. I recommend reading and checking whether it will help you boost chances of getting pregnant. Hope this helps.

    Thanks hon.
No I’m not on progesterone. I had 4 chemical pregnancies in 2020 and had bloods done to check all my hormones b4 and after ovulation including progesterone and all came back normal. Then I fell with my son on cycle 11. Naturally.

I’m going to get the bloods re done again. Just waiting for this cycle to end so I can call and book.
Now 16dpo but I usually start bleeding at 17dpo.
    Always such a long wait.
    How are you doing hon?

    Thanks my love,
I actually had 4 chemical pregnancies in 2020 and had bloods to check my hormones b4 and after ovulation. And everything came back perfect including progesterone.
Then I fell with my son on cycle 11.
I’m now 16dpo and waiting for AF. She normally shows at 17dpo latest.

I am going to get bloods done to check my hormones b4 and after ovulation again, as soon as af shows I can call and book.

I’ve also looked into getting bloods and a scan to check ovarian reserve but it’s very expensive.

im taking a lot of supplements now so I’m praying they will help,
I have a very regular cycle and ovulate every month, confirmed by opks and temping.
So I’m praying all is still good.

    Dear Suggerhoney,

The best of luck to you. I hope it all works out. Congratulations on your son! Trying to conceive can be very challenging emotionally. Julia Indichova gives wonderful guidance, encouraging seeing the journey a bit as a science experiment - trying things- trying to tune in to our bodies to see how we respond as well as good nutrition and so forth. Not caving to the idea that we are cursed with a terrible life because of this challenge but to embrace it as an opportunity to not take our lives for granted and to be compassionate towards ourselves

I do watch a few long term trying to conceive and older women YouTube videos.

cd10 here and the wait for ovulation all over again. Cycle 14 trying: praying for that golden egg and sticky rainbow BFP[-o<
