TTC 5 years after loss

Hi ladies! I will be TTC with my husband hopefullyllater this year. We don't have an exact date chosen, but he has to get a vasectomy reversal first and we are starting to do the research and planning for that.

The end of March marks 5 years since I had my MC (was in a different relationship at that time). Also I'll be 28 in a couple months, really want to have a baby before I'm 30. With my first pregnancy it was not planned, this time aaround it's going to require a LOT of planning.

Has anyone TTC this long after a loss? I know it's fairly common to lose your first pregnancy, but i am just so scared of it happening again. If we spend all this money and time to get his reversal and then have another MC. I will be devastated.

Any advice for someone new to TTC after a loss?? Thank you!

I think we might be. When I first joined I started looking for other ladies who had a long time in between last mc and TTC again and I couldn't find anyone! I was so happy to see your post!

I am also close to your age (26 turning 27 in June) and have heard the clock ticking loudly I might add!

How is the vasectomy plans going?

Things have been really busy lately and we still haven't talked much about timing I know it's still on his mind from things he says, but I think he's kind of putting off going to the doctor...
