I have had a 6 month course of zoladex for endo. My last injection runs out on Friday (11th)
I'm just wondering if anyone here has been told they have to wait a certain amount of time after the last one wears off before TTC after zoladex.
The reason I ask is because iv read that u should wait 12 weeks after to make sure its all completely out of ur system but when I asked my Dr (not gynae) how long I have to wait he simply said when I ovulate after its fine but as he isn't a gynae he's a gp (can't expect them to know the ins and outs of everything) I'm wondering whether he was just assuming that.
I don't think I could wait another 12 weeks to TTC, I no its dangerous to get pregnant while on it so I haven't obviously, but iv also read that u shouldn't use hormonal forms of contraception on it but that's all I used for the first 4 months and the last 2 months I haven't used anything (however no bd due to surgery), apparently you should only use non hormonal forms.
Can anyone tell me what they were told on zoladex
