So I just went to see my specialist and it turns out the information we were given was incorrect and it's actually going to take an extra 2 months for all my medication to leave my system. So our TTC date has been pushed from later this month to late July/early August at the earliest. I know it's for the best and I want the best for my baby, but I am disappointed, we were nearly there! :nope:

Aw! Flossie, I'm sorry to hear that you have to push the date back :(. That's gotta be tough especially when you were anticipating and had your heart set on an earlier date. Sounds like you are doing what's best for your future baby and I'm sure time will go by quickly! :flower:

Thanks :flower:

I feel so awful complaining here when some people have years ahead of them yet... But we are just so ready and the 3 week anticipation was already killing us!

Oh well, more time to drink wine, right? :wine:

I'm sorry I can imagine how disappointed you must be. Hopefully the next 2 months will fly by for you :hugs:

Sorry Flossie :flower:

I think the best thing to do is arrange to do something in about a months time that you would love - spa day, posh restaurant, day out etc. That way you can down to that and once its done you will be on the home straight!

Sorry to hear that, Flossie. Disappointment sucks. But it means a healthier :baby: . Just one of the many choices you will be making from now on for the sake of your LO!

Is there anything you can think of that you wouldn't be able to do while pregnant that you can take the opportunity to do now? (Besides drinking wine, of course!)

Selfishly though, I am more than happy to welcome you over to the August club :flower::hugs:

Hope the next two months fly by for you fast. :flower:

Mines got pushed back from July to August so we can wait together

I'm very sorry Flossie. :hugs:

I like what Sakura brought up about doing some things in the next few months that you wouldn't do due to being pregnant or having a LO. Praying the next few months fly by for you!

You're all amazing, thank you so much! I have many plans to drink wine, and eat soft cheeses over the next two months! :haha: I went and had a deep tissue massage yesterday also, and slept til 11am today to relish my childfree days LOL
