Hello Everyone! I wanted to start this thread for us overweight women who are having a hard time getting pregnant due to being overweight/obese. It may or may not help us get that BFP, but at least we will be healthier for when we do! And of course talk about TTC and where we're at in our cycles! ANY of you girls can join, whether you're NTNP, TTCAL, WTT, etc!

Our weigh in day will be on Tuesdays. If you don't wish to state your weight, that's fine! Just know, you have nothing to be ashamed of here.

If you are just joining, fill out the following:

Today was an easy dieting day. I felt like i consumed ALOT but i didn't even eat 1200 calories! I snacked all day on fruits and veggies. Guess that's why i feel like i ate a lot. Going to the gym tmrw morning. Ready to sweat lol.

What did you have to eat today?!

For breakfast i had: 1 banana, 1 celery stalk, 1 tbs peanut butter. Lunch: turkey sandwich on wheat bread, apple, sugar free choc pudding. Snack: huge plate of salad with fat free italian dressing. Dinner: grapes, 100 calorie pack of fudge brownies, lean cuisine three cheese ziti. Then had an orange for a late night snack!

I'm also 3dpo! Going to test Feb 3rd.

I'm really happy about this thread. I have other health issues that are keeping me from getting my bfp, but my dr says losing a few pounds might help. I have always struggled with my weight. I go up and down. So here I go again!! Maybe this thread will hold me even more accountable!! Thanks so much for starting it! I have always just wanted to lose weight for image reasons but now it's for a much bigger purpose! Praying God will see me through it and give me self control! I love to eat so much!! Lol

Hello to all! I am glad there is a thread like this too! Here is my info:

Name: Rachel
Age: 35
SW (starting weight): 234
CW (current weight): 207
GW (goal weight): 160
Height: 5' 6"
What is your weight loss plan? Counting calories and exercising 5 days a week.
How long have you been TTC? 2 cycles now. (see sig for more info)

Exercising isn't a problem for me, as I love to do it but eating is my downfall. I am counting calories and have realized that with the amount of exercise that I do, I need to eat more. Once I upped my caloric intake to 1900, the pounds started dropping off again! You really do need to eat to lose. :)

So true Leikela! Isn't that crazy? I'm trying to stay around 1500 right now but it's so damn hard to eat that much because you feel like a fatty doing it! I've been trying to make sure i eat enough! Thanks for joining!!

We are opposites! LOL I find it easy to 1500 calories. It is a bit harder to eat 1900 but I make sure to eat every 3 hours too. With all the exercise I do (about 7 hours a week) I am hungry more often. When I was eating less and still exercising a lot, I wasn't dropping much weight. A few pounds here or there. My body was in severe starvation mode. I cannot believe how much better I feel and how much more willing my body is to shed the weight when I fuel it. :)

You're exactly right. One time i wouldn't eat more calories then i burned that day. Yeah, worked for about a week. Then my body went into starvation mode as well. NOT FUN and definitely so much EASIER to give up because you're sick of starving for nothing. That's why it's best to EAT! lol. I've been trying to eat every 3-4 hours as well. It REALLY helps. I'm less hungry for when i do eat. I won't eat anything huge past 7pm. I'll have a fruit maybe at like 9ish but then that's it.

Is everyone getting their water in daily? I've been trying too. I must say, i've been SLACKING, ugh! It's easy for me to consume all that but when i'm working it's hard to.

I am pretty good with the water intake but could be better. I average about 64 ounces a day but should drink closer to 100 ounces, especially on my gym days.

Since I tend to go off track on the weekends (sometimes), I usually weigh in on Friday mornings. I will report my progress then. Especially since this past weekend I had a party Friday and Saturday night. :)

k that sounds great! good job on the water! it seems when i go to the gym i'm way more thirsty.

I am finding it easy to eat 1500 a day and not go over that, not really a water drinker though but I'll have to try and change that!

Well, me and hubby weighed in lastnight and I have lost.....4lbs this week!!:happydance::happydance::happydance:

Hope everyone else has a good loss x

Yvonne, WOW! That's wonderful! SO proud of you. It's amazing to see how much 4lbs really is. Congrats!!

I weighed in this morning. I've been dieting for 1 week now. Started at 302 and today i'm 294.6! 7.4lbs lost! woohoo!

Going to the gym later! Gonna try and get all my water in today. What's an exercise you all actually enjoy doing? I don't know why but for me, i really like running. You wouldn't think for a big girl like me i'd like doing that, but once i start running i get this rush through me that makes me focused. I love it.

my weigh in day is saturday, so i just weighed a couple of days ago and i dont want to jinx myself by getting on the scale too soon! but ill be sure to post my new weight next tuesday! HOPEFULLY there will be a loss!! great job babydust and vonnie!!! those are awesome losses!

i wish i could recommend an exercise i like...but i just hate them all :( i am making myself run. Which i do like BETTER when im running outside!

good luck ladies!

Congrats to all the pounds lost!! :)

My favorite exercise is Kick Boxing. I do the Les Mills program called Body Combat. It is so much fun!! I love the mixed martial arts and the punching, kicking, etc. It really whips you into shape fast. It is a great stress reliever too! :)
