TTC & Dieting (for overweight women)

Wow that is GREAT! 51lbs is a lot to lose. Pick up a bag of potatoes that weighs 50lbs. Just to imagine that's how much extra you had carrying on your body. it's crazy! So proud of you for not cheating/over eating! Good for you! LOL i agree with the eating dreams. So nice to know it's 0 cals.

Well done to the losses and to those who put on.....get back on the wagon and it'll come off next week! Weigh in for me tomorrow and again not looking forward to it. I am always so good during the week and then when the weekend comes I end up undoing all the good I've done! It's a crazy viscous circle!

Will let you know how tomorrow goes x

I am in the same boat as you! I gained a pound this past week but was so good all week long. It is the weekends that kill me. Vicious cycle indeed! We can do this!! :)
 
hello thank goodness the weekend is over the family gathering yesterday way too much food i so overate and felt icky last night. I managed to still stay with in my points - granted i now have no more flex points for the rest of the week (thurs).

My weigh in is wed im hoping to stay the same and not go up but it happens so its just getting back on the wagon after a fall.-
today lots of light eating and the gym tonight.

On a ttc topic i had the wierdest thing happen yesterday im on cycle day 10 and was due to ov yesterday (i forgot to test for ov yest) and i noticed yesterday mid cycle spotting.

Im not sure if its because of ov or something else. Would be nice if it was OV as weve been bd'ng lots.
 
Hi ladies, i don't have weight issues but was reading an article today at Dr office and says the South beach diet is not really good if u have normal cycles and are ttc but can help if u have PCOS. Thought i share this as it's something that never heard about
 
Well, stayed the same this week which is better than a gain at least but a loss would have been better. Got a quiet weekend this week so I'm thinking of locking myself in my room just to avoid the cupboard lol x
 
Well, weigh in today put me at 205.8. That's a total of 17.2 lbs since I started my diet up again 12 days ago!! Only 9 more days of the no carb/no sugars eating, then I have to maintain my weight for awhile before trying to lose again.

Keep up the good work, ladies! We can do it!
 
so i have been really hungry and craving carbs the past couple of days - im sure i will be up tomorrow

i did make it to the gym yesterday so hopefully i will be able to get back on track

So I'm a little shocked, I'm down 2 lbs
I thought for sure I'd be up

Tonight after weigh in we're off to the gym so I will run on the tm as I worked late and never made it to run outside in the gorgeous sunshine
Today's wt 246.7 down 24.5
 
Not my weigh day but hopped on the scale this morning anyways.
Down 2.2lbs since sunday, hopefully i can make it 3lbs by this Sunday!

went through my closet and dresser and have to garbage bags to donate. i was able to take some of my skinny clothes out of the basket in the closet.

i have noticed the loss - but find it frustrating that i dont loose it equally i have lost it mostly in my abd and hips not my thighs.

that means i can pull my clothes on/off with out undoing the button. but they are just fitting right in the thighs (which means i cant go down a pant size yet -hopefully soon, till then belts are my friend)

im really hoping this weight loss helps with my pcos and ttc
 
Forgot to weigh myself last week and this morning when I stepped on the scales I pleasantly surprised to still be at 168! My DH didn't feel good last weekend so I made potato cheese soup (calories galore) and made a huge dinner for us last night complete with all the happy v-day desserts! So, I may not have lost but I haven't gained! I'll take that :happydance:
 
Down 22 lbs since starting this portion of my diet. Now, I'm going to try to maintain my weight for the next 4 weeks before trying to lose again. That's always my biggest battle. Only 26 more lbs to goal weight!!!

kay congrats. good luck on the maintaining till the next part of your diet. I think maintaining is the hardest part

So i had my weigh in yesterday i was down 3.3 for a total of 27.8 i hit my 10% yeah. I set my next goal for 50 so thats another 23.2 lbs to reach that goal.

how is everyone doing? any bfp's?
 
I'm 3dpo but I think I am going to wait until 1 day after AF was due if she doesn't show her evil face! FX'ed for all you other ladies!

Hey ladies!! Sorry i been MIA. I just moved and have been sooo busy. Of course i haven't been eating the best either. Just basically snacking and eating whatever is available. :nope: not good. Back on the wagon though!! I've had so much good happen to me this week. I got a new house, new job and my OH got a new job too!!!! I got on the scale and didn't gain as much as i thought i would. I am just so excited. I feel blessed. How are y'all doing!? I hope lovely. I'm CD9. My cycles range from 29-35 days. So i got a long ways to go.

LadyDavis - ooooo good luck with getting a BFP!! I hate but love the 2ww. It's just so exciting and you feel so much hope and faith! Tons of baby dust your way!!

As for BFP's, um, yup... LOL I can't be a member of the weight loss club anymore but I am not too heartbroken about it. :)

Congrats on the BFP hun :)

I have been AWOL the past week or so, just not been in the right frame of mind for healthy eating and I put on 2lb!! Back on track as of now though x
