TTC while breastfeeding 11 month old baby

Hi girls
I have a 11mo old bay boy and we are keen to have number 2 asap.
I am still breastfeeding and he is feeding twice a day (7am and 7pm) for past 2 months or so.
Still no sign of my periods returning.
Anyone have any tips on encouraging AF to return? I wonder should I expect to have it again?

i did a quick google search for you and i read that breastfeeding can delay your period/ovulation. but i have heard of woman who got pregnant while nursing..its different for everyone. im sorry i wasnt much of a help, but your doctor certainly should have a answer for you, goodluck and babydust

as u r down to only 2 feeds its likely it should return soon. mine returned a week after leaving lo for 24 hrs, pumping while away and leaving expressed milk! I was amazed that just that short time with no contact triggered it!
