I have searched all over the Internet tonight trying to find help for this. But all I see are posts and info about taking Ciprofloxacin during pregnancy! I am not pregnant yet so that doesn't help!!
my period was really late this month due to a uti. Doctor prescribed me cipro for the uti and BOOM. Biggest period EVER! Well now my period is over and I'm about to start ovulating but still have a couple of days on cipro left during my ovulation. My doctor knows I am TTC but prescribed the cipro anyway. So... should I be ok? Anyone else take these antibiotics while ttc??
I know antibiotics are actually known to make birth control stop working and be the cause of lots of very healthy and surprise pregnancies. So I'm not too worried since I am on no birth control and WANT to be pregnant. But I want to be safe and just do research and be sure since I am on this medication during my ovulation days and I'm dead set on getting pregnant.
