Hello all, My name is Danielle. me and my boyfriend are TTC. I just came off my BCP. my last period was september 1st. i bought an O-kit and i O'ed on day 14. we had sex the day before and 3 days after and are still having sex it is now sept. 24th and i have taken pregnancy test but they are all neg. but i think i maybe testing too early. i have been having cramps for the last week and ahalf, my nipples are tender..... does anyone know if i may be pregnant? what do you think?

way too early to test plus sometimes getting off bc screws things up but then again i got pregnant right after......

According to my calculations if you got a +OPK on CD14 (Sept14th) you may not have O until Sept 15th or 16th (+OPK happens before O) and even though you got a +OPK does NOT mean you actually O'd the only way to confirm O actually occured is to temp, A lot of people use fertility friend to chart their temps, once you have a sustained thermal shift (3 days of rising temps) it will confirm O happened.
Anyway assuming that you did O after your +OPK on 09/15 or 09/16 that puts you about 8-9 DPO, some people can get a +HPT that early, but most do not until at least 11 DPO. some people do not get a BFP until after their AF is due.

We all hate waiting LOL. It truely stinks. I would suggest if AF does show, wait until then and sign up at fertility friend they have a free 30 day trial, there are so many tutorials and tips there, you cna pick up a cheap BBT under $10 and start temping from the day of AF, that way you can see what is actually happening.

If you ovulated around the 14th-16th it would still be too early. Take another test with first morning urine in like 3-4 days. Hope you get your bfp and it's a short journey for you!! Welcome to BNB btw xx

This is definitely a great suggestion. However, you may also just want to have fun trying in the beginning. My husband and I just started trying for Baby #1 this week. My periods are almost always 32 days apart, and I can literally feel it when I ovulate (July I felt it in left ovary, August I felt it in right), and it was at the exact same time each month. So for the first few months of trying, we are going to estimate when I'm ovulating, and assume the time when I'm most fertile. Although we started "not preventing" the day my period was over, so we are just maintaining a very active sex life for a few weeks!!! Some girls do like to temp, and use OPKs and of course if that works for you, go for it!! I just know that DH and I would rather be a bit more laid back at first, and if that does't work, then we will try the other tactics. Good luck TTC!!!

thanks yeah i hope i get a bfp i will try on the 28th if i dont cave before then. i have had tender nipples and mild cramps for over a week. i just stoped my bcp this month and bought an opk and it said pos + for day 14 but not day 15. so i am still waiting.....waiting sucks. oh and i have felt sick to my stomach a few times. and am always tired. i will let you know.
