Cadence is now swaddle free! She rolls over in her sleeping bag though, and is either on her side, or tummy. Twice I have caught her sleeping FACE DOWN in the mattress. Scared the crap out of me.

What do you do? I can't swaddle her forever, she can escape every contraption known to man. No more contraptions, she can even get the MB off in a second, she ends up with it loose in her crib, and once or twice she is tangled in it.

So now, I felt safer with nothing loose in the crib but now she has started this, do you allow it? I keep turning her head for her. What about overnight, though?

How did my parents ever raise me as a tummy sleeper, this is nerve wracking!

Do you have baby monitor? Just let her sleep face down ( useing monitor). My boy sleeps on his belly and facedown sometimes, there is not much I can do about it :(

my LO started rolling in her sleep around 5 months and also slept face down, still does sometimes. just make sure sheets fit well and everyone in a while i turn her head for my own satisfaction, but apparently they like to sleep face down :)

My LO has slept on her front from weeks - naughty mummy !
Its because she juist screamed every time we put her on her back, so has her parents we decided to do it as safely as we can and to this day she still will not go on her back, she just loves being on her tummy.

Avery does this too...makes me crazy. She will usually turn her head to the right but for some reason she can't turn it fully to the left so she ends up sorta buried or she'll purposely bury her face in the mattress. All I do is wait until she's mostly passed out and flip her head to the side and hope she keeps it that way. I am so paranoid sometimes its all I can do to not run in there are check on her every five minutes...but she's been ok. And she's finally remembered that she CAN roll from her front to her back (she apparently forgot she had that skill) so she's all over the place now. So nerve wracking!
