My doctor told me taking TUMS would be okay to help manage excess stomach acid

Thoughts?

I hope so, I practically ate hundreds of them (but only certain colours lol) when expecting my son! I used them for heartburn though, although I think this is the same as excess stomach acid (maybe not)

They are safe, says on the packet take up to 7 in 24 hours if you are pregnant.

I used them, mostly for trapped wind in the 2nd tri!

I use rolaids softchews - MUCh better than tums for me. Poor bella - heartburn getting you down. I swear it's a girl you're having too!!!

I love my TUMS! I have some with me at ALL times!!

it is just the excess stomach acid, which gives me nausea and horrible burps. It gets bad into the evening.

I had Gaviscon all through my second preg, touch wood I've not needed it so far this time around. It'll be Tums for me too if I do need em though, I can't stand Gaviscon
