    Hi,

Yep my LO is BLW and has tuna loads - although they cant have the one in brine but sunflower oil/spring water is fine. Megan loves it!!!

The advice is no more than a couple of times a week - as with pregnacy.. Tuna and other similar fish can contain mercury. Tuna in brine is considered less healthy, a bit like eating a steak without trimming the fat from it... If its in water its considered more healthy because it isnt basically swimming in its own juice!

It is really odd. I guess they can develop some weird allergies to fish?
Where are you from? No fish jars in US, haven't seen any. I do both BLW and TW and I personally LOVE fish but I think maybe wait one more month before giving her tuna or salmon.

My daughter has fish all the while! She loves it!! I no its no shellfish for a year but fish is def ok from 6 months (i checked with my doc!)

I think tuna in brine is a no because brine is salty so might contain to much salt for LO?!

    Xx
