So my LO has been mostly TW with some BLW food mixed in since she was 5 1/2 months.

She is still on formula a bottle every 3-4 hours at this stage.

She eats a breakfast meal, usually a fruit pouch/puree or fruit puree mixed with cereal

lunch is usually some puffs or baby crunchies with a tub or pouch

dinner is usually a meat dinner tub/jar.

I also give her things that we're eating if they're suitable (I don't always have the best diet due to anxiety/depression)

I also give her toast at times.

She only has 2 tiny teeth on the bottom, I'm wondering if she needs more food than this and what other things I could give her

thanks ladies:flower:

Hi! I have started giving my little girl finger foods for lunch and dinner as she was rejecting the purées. Ideas are... Cheese sandwiches, toast, fish fingers, chicken, omelette, pancakes, sweet potato wedges, vegetables. Those r some of the things I give my baby :) the cheese sandwiches are her favourite!

Btw she is 8 months on sat and has one tooth and another one about to come through. Xxx

We gave Charlotte pancakes and eggs this morning and she loved that!

We also found she loves fries after she grabbed a bunch off of our plate, so we're going to make sweet potatoe or zuchini fries - just bake them with olive oil. They're soft enough for them to"chew".

thank u for the ideas. She has had scrambled egg before off of my plate. also she has had some mashed potatoes and other things, she's not too picky right now which is good but I am afraid of her choking I guess.

My LO just turned 9 months but we've been doing a mixture of TW and BLW since 6 months, as she refused to eat pureed food that isn't fruit!!

She has cereal in the morning, then for lunch she usually has toast, yoghurt and fruit, then for her tea, it depends on if I've had a chance to cook, or if I've kept her some from the night before, but she has toast or crusty bread (with butter, marmite or dairylea), ham (i roll it up so she can hold it), cheese (mature cheddar, she loves it!), cucumber, pepper, satsuma pieces, baked beans, spaghetti hoops, pineapple sticks, banana, sometimes a yoghurt if she doesn't eat much, scrambled eggs, pasta with pesto, chicken...in various combinations!! She has 2 bottom teeth as well and copes really well with food!

Hi. Since 6 months old (now 7 months) my sons had what ever we have. He hasnt had any pureed meals or baby food. Well other than breakfast.

Breakfast- porridge then 4 oz formula shortly after (he feeds himself bottles)
Lunch- whatever were having followed by 4oz. This could be a sandwich, pasta, beans on toast, eggs/beans/bacon, followed by fruit- banana, blueberries, pear slices, apple slices, yogurt
Tea- what ever we have and 4oz- spag bol, pasta bake, roasted veg and meat, fresh veg, curry, salad.

Then before bed at 7pm a 7oz bottle. He also has 2 9oz bottles a night :(

I actually cant think of a food that he hasnt eaten. All his foods are easy to pick up and munch on. The only thing so far he hasnt managed to swallow is chicken.

PS- im on slimming world now so all the food we eat is freshly made and prepared and healthy xx

If you are looking for finger food ideas (finger foods are different than BLW, I assumeyou mean finger foods), you can't go wrong with Annabel Karmel's 100 Finger Foods book. One of the UK girls suggested it to me and you can get it locally off of Amazon in the US/Canada. It's great! :) Things like mozza sticks, etc

finger foods, yes! i get confused on BLW. but either way she's interested in "people" food lol
