Twinges & cramps

I am 7 weeks today and the past few days, I have been experiencing sharp twinges on the right hand side of my groin, lasting minutes at a time. This morning I feel like my period is about to start, just a dull ache in my lower tummy.

Am really praying it is just stretching, I know baby faces a bit of a growth spurt from now but still can't help worrying, it is making me want to go for a private scan this week.

Boobs are still sore and I get slight nausea for a minute or two and I have been having 10-12 hour sleeps, just so scared of bleeding.

Annoying but normal. Possibly caused by digestive system being slower when pregnant, I have had some unpleasant pains with that! If you are worried go and see your doctor and get it checked out, perhaps they will refer you for a scan anyway?

I had the same hun. I asked my midwife about it on thursday at my booking in appointment and she said its very normal. Its all the ligaments stretching and the uterus growing. I told her i was worried but she said not too hope this helps you a bit hun xxx
