Twins prefering to look to one side?

Has anyone got a twin who prefers looking to one side? My twin a - who was breach, almost always looks to the left (torticollis).This is apparently common in first born twins as they get squished inside. We are encouraging him to turn both ways with toys etc. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

Hi I have twins boys who are nearly two. When Henry was born he did prefer to look to the left, he was first out and there was not alot of room the boys weighed 7lb 15oz and 7lb 4oz. We did take him to the doctors but by the time we were referred to the hospital it resolved it self by encouraging him to look to the right toys on his right and talk to him from the right. As his neck muscles strengthen he was fine. Hope that makes sense!! xx

Thankyou. Yes it seems to be quite common but I hadn't seen anybody mention it on here.

It is very common. We had our daughter seeing a Physical Therapist a month after she came home for it. Her torticollis had become so bad, her head was starting to become misshapen. The PT showed us a few games and exercises to do with her to stretch out the muscles in her neck and gave us hints on how to keep her head turned to that side while she slept. Within 6 months, her head was back to the right shape and she no longer had difficulty tuning her head.

Peyton had that. I took him to a physical therapist to give me exercises to stretch those muscles out. What she told me is when he is in the bath tub to stick a warm wet washcloth on that side and wait a few minutes and then turn his head to the other side and hold for 30 seconds, wait 10 and repeat the stretch. She also said I could do that while he was in his highchair as well.
