If I have a boy I am planning on naming him Atticus.. Now my brother and dad are both passed on I was thinking of using their names for middle names.

Atticus Robert Stanley

Does it sound terrible? Would you use two middle names? I am for sure using Stanley in the baby's middle name if it's a boy... but I am still really unsure of Robert.

It's the ONLY thing I am still stuck on, I have my girls name picked out just incase it's a girl lol

Its not unheard of nor does it sound horrible. My sister gave my nephew two middle names after or passes uncle. So his name is Derek Thomas James. She could have stopped at Thomas, but used his whole name instead.

I like the sound of that name. I think multiple middles is great for boys. I had two middle names and the only thing annoying about it was the paperwork when I got married. Not enough fields when I did the name change, so I dropped one.

I have two middle names as do my younger sisters (my older sisters only have one) so I plan to use two middle names for my children. Well, so long as they're not a mouthful! I think Atticus Robert Stanley sounds really nice together. It's got a good flow :)

Thanks! I think I will use it if it is a boy! I find out tomorrow haha :)

Yay! Update us tomorrow on what you're having.

Myself and my brother both have 2 middle names, as does my daughter. I think as long as it flows nicely, it's not an issue. I like having 2 middle names!

I think it sounds lovely. One of my daughters has two middles (Riley Rae Ann) but they're quite short my brother has two middle names which are longer and he hates it.

Well looks like I wont be using these names :( I am not sure if I will be having another baby after this one so my hope for a boy is dead! So.... Anastasia Elizabeth is my girl name. I am super happy about it though :D

Well congrats and welcome to team pink. We were hoping for a boy as well, but we have already decided to try for one more after she's born.

Congrats hun, that's a beautiful name x

I think it is fine. My DS full name is Callum David Edward Hill. It may be long for some people but I love it

One middle name, 2 or none. I think it is all acceptable, especially when there is special meaning involved.

Thanks :)
I would love one more but my medical condition seems to get worse each pregnancy so I don't think it would be fair to me or my kids to be put thru all that. I go see specialists now every two weeks and what not. I have to talk to the doctor to see if I would be able to have one more or if I should just tie it up in a nice big bow haha.

Lol well whatever happens congrats and good luck.

If I have a boy, my partner chose the name Ronan and we are going to incorporate his dad's middle name and his grandpa's first name.

Ronan Lee Jack :)

I've added an extra name to my girls middle name.

Anastasia Elizabeth Dawn

Dawn is a family member of mine who is like a sister and since she can't have kids I figured I would honor her. We grew up really close and still are really close so I asked if I could use her name, she didn't say anything but probably because she's shocked so I assume yes :) Two middle names for this little girl too

We gave my LO two middle names. His second middle name is my surname. OH and I aren't married (we are engaged though having an actual wedding is not that important to us), so I wanted my surname to be carried on since we decided not to hyphenate his last name. I like the way two middle names comes off and I'm thinking of doing the same for our next baby.

I think it flows really well. The fact is mean something makes it more special. My little girl has 2 middle names. x
