Ugh I think my sweep was a bust :(

So I was all worked up over having a sweep fine today as I have never had one before. Anyways I had it done an hour and a half ago and I didn't even get a cramp, plug loss or bleeding from it! I even stopped having the Braxton hicks I was having since last night. The only thing that has happened is my baby is moving alot more then normal but I think she just ticked him off! Also I am only 1 cm dilated and cervix is way in the back and thick she says. I don't think anything is going to come from this. I feel better than I have in days! Pooey lol... I am done complaining now

Don't write it off just yet! They can take 48 hours to work. With my daughter I didn't have anything happen til the next day so could still happen

Thanks it's just so hard to think something could happen when the pains I was having have gone as soon as she did the sweep lol

Well, you still have some time... sometimes things can come on very quickly, and I hope that is the case for you. Hopefully it will work. How far along are you? Fingers crossed. xxxx

I didnt have any pains after my sweep also nothing happened then next day and following day lost my plug still no pains then 4 days later my waters broke and i had my son 4 hours later dont write it off just yet hunnie xx

I'm only 39+2 but because I am on my third my doctor offered to do it. I have been having false labor off and on since boxing day and I labor really fast so all this not knowing is driving me batty. I just feel like it couldn't have done anything, but on a plus note I did just have a nap with my daughter and it was the first time I have been able to actually fall asleep in the day and sleep comfortably for 1 1/2 hours in weeks!
