Ugh, Why am I so nice? :'(

I was just telling my stepmom about how we were going to the movies tomorrow night (Haven't rly had a date night since being pregnant) and she goes "Oh, that reminds me we need a babysitter this weekend" and of course me being the nice person I am put my plans on hold to watch my little brother when I get home from work. I didn't want to say no because they very rarely ask me to watch him but it is always so inconvenient and last min. It's literally 11pm at night here and she asked me over FB a few min ago. I didn't think much of it until I said yes without thinking and then realized I couldn't believe she did that when I already said we had plans.

Just call her and apologize and tell her you can't this time.

I second that , call and tell her change in plans , she shouldn't have asked knowing that you had already planned to go out
