My first prenatal is June 13th!! Ill be aprx 6 weeks by ovulation
Last time I was pg I heard and saw the hb at around 6+3 and lost the baby soon after. Just wondering when did you ladies hear or at least see the hb?

I first saw mine at my 7 week scan, then saw/heard it at my 9+4 scan. Picked it up on the doppler at 11+4, and just saw it at a scan dating 12+1. And Im still petrified of it stopping!!

I dont think the worry ever goes does it? :(

I have another scan on Tues, my official NT scan and still nervous for it, even though I saw baby 2 days ago, I promised OH I now wouldnt use my doppler until 14 weeks for a quick reaasurance :(

I heard mine at 6+1 :D

You should be able to both see it and hear it. Congratulations! :baby:

I will be getting mine next Tuesday when I'm 6w5d but since I probably ovulate CD17, then I might just be 6w2d.

I saw mine at around 7 weeks, but they didn't try to "hear" it on the ultrasound machine til I had one at 9 weeks.......I found it myself using a Doppler at just over 11 weeks, but I didn't try before then :) now at 15 weeks, I can find it pretty easily, but at times it's louder than others depending on what baby's up to xxxxxxxx

We don't have early scans here, so it will be around 10-12 weeks before I get to see/hear babies hb unless I go for an early private scan. It was the same with my first pregnancy.

Good luck for your first prenatal, you will probably be able to see/hear your babies hb but I know there are some women who have had scans at that stage and haven't been able to see a hb yet as it's still been too early. Fingers crossed for you that you can xx

Thanks ladies, I suppose I will just wait and see what happens. :)

I had scan at 6 and didn't hear it, no fetal pole or anything just yolk sac. I wasn't worried particularly as I knew it would be hit and miss whether they could see anything. Had another scan at 7+3 and everything was moving along happily, saw a little flickering hb! So I would go there hoping to see something but don't be heartbroken if not, all babies develop differently xx
