Ultrasound Diagnosis:AMENORRHEA???

My GYN has scheduled me to get and ultrasound and for Diagnosis he wrote down AMENORRHEA has anyone ever had this done where u need to drink 32oz of water an hour prior to ultrasound. Would i get my results on the spot?

When i went for US for my ovarian cysts the tech was able to tell me if they were gone and if things looked good! Hope that helps a bit..

Well i had my yearly pap and talk to doc and told him i wanted to ttc and I told him i had 41 day cycles and got concerned and now scheduled me a ultrasound and some test when AF arives. Yeah thats what i was thinking that i probably get my results on the spot

Not too long 3 months but i sometimes don't O every month.

That's not long! but then again 2 weeks when ttc feels like an eternity!! My doctor said it is normal for a couple to take 9-12 months to conceive their first and thats the norm! I hope results turn out great for you! I know how hard and stressful that is

Amenorrhea just means no AF... I had an ultrasound for pelvic pain; I had to drink a lot of water beforehand so my bladder was full and the could check my abdomen. The ultrasound lady told me she was checking my kidneys too just in case (?), then I emptied my bladder and had an intravaginal ultrasound to check my ovaries/uterus - that's when they saw cysts on my ovaries and told me it was likely endometriosis. However technically my diagnosis was a"maybe", I had to have a lap to get formal confirmation
