So I'm a bit confused. I had my son July 7th, and bled for 9 days and spotted for 5 (total of 14 days) At 6 weeks I had my checkup and started spotting 4 days after so I'm pretty sure it wasn't because of the exam. It was only enough that there was some when I wiped, it never was enough to need a liner and never marked my undies, it went on for about 5 days...

I'm now just over 8 weeks and started spotting the same way last night but even lighter. It's mostly been brownish blood with a bit of pink.

We did have :sex: a few times between 3 and 7 1/2 weeks (been really busy the last week)

Has anyone had bleeding like this???? It took 6+ months to get my period back with my daughter and we didn't even exclusively bfd like we are with my son... How long did it take for your cycles to sort themselves after delivery????

Wow... I'm sorry I'm taking the bad attitude approach here but I'd love if someone would say something...

Thanks BnB for at least being a space I can write things out in...

Sorry sweetie, I can't help you with that as my first is only 3 weeks old. I imagine that it can take a while for your body to get back to normal so I assume it's normal, but if you're worried you could always speak to your doctor :flower:

my periods took ages to get back to normal after ds1 and ive had one since ds2 and that was caus i came off the minipill caus i ran out ooppps and there was a delay in getting back onto it lol

post natally then there is no "normal" as each of us are different to start with and although it can be a pain then if you arent too worried then just ride it out if you are worried its best to talk to you GP

I've just had my first period and it was very very light. I wad expecting it to be heavy for some reason so I was surprised how little I bled. Not that I was complaining. I guess it just takes a while fir your body to resume normal service.

Thanks for putting up with me ladies...

I had a stressful night and waking up to nothing was a bit too much for me :hugs:

Thanks
