unfortunately going to have to arrange for midwife to be killed

With my first pregnancy everytime i would go for my appointment and ask about aches n pains or things i was worried about she would always say without fail 'oo how strange' and give no explanation. I used to come out n cry to my fiance.

Then when our little girl arrived we asked about milk spots and a milk blister on her lip and she again said 'oo how strange, i dont know'

This time i just havent even bothered asking her anything. When i got to 25 weeks pregnant, i rang her to ask for a health in pregnancy form (it was around when the new government were taking over and i was scared they were going to stop it before i was due to go to my next appointment) she said come in at 9 on monday...so i booked the morning off work and did this..she wasnt there, i rang her and she said she wasnt due in til the afternoon, i asked if my fiance could come in and get it at dinner. She said yes at 12:30, he did this and she didnt arrive til 13:30 so he didnt get any dinner!!

Then i applied for a sure start maternity grant and i asked her to fill in the back, she said she didnt have time but leave it with her and she would send it off for me. I got it back through the post the other day because she hadnt filled anything out!! She'd just sent it through the post. I took it in today and she made me wait for an hour with my 15 month old daughter running around everywhere and moaning because she was bored. Then she filled it out in front of me (it took her about a minute) I was sooooo mad!

She is so incompetent it's unbelievable!! xxxxx

I did consider it but i thought it was a bit tight on the rest of the staff, they probably want to do the honours. I imagine she is the worst person to work with, she's one of those people that says ridiculous things and then laughs really loud at herself and you're just sat there like.... riiigghht are you a bit special? ha she's such a mong xxxx

i remember a previous post from you about her!! She sounds like a right bloody nightmare...how does she manage to do her job?? Sounds like she doesn't have a damn clue! I dont blame you for wanting to kill her, I think I would too if I was in your shoes. I'm surprised nothing has been done about her, because I'm sure you aren't the only one that finds her completely incompetant.

ha good, i'm glad someone can get some joy from her. I do think it's the only way though now, it's not fair on future pregnant women to have to put up with her. (When i was in there this other pregnant girl with no bump yet was just leaving and she was like thanks and all laughy with her. I was like oh so naive. You just wait.)

My fiance is 6'6 and she said to me and his mum and dad 'so is he officially a giant' i was like do you want me to punch you in the face now or later?

If you were in Devon I'd reckon we had the same midwife! Got an appointment with her tomorrow and if it wasn't for the fact I like to have blood pressure etc checked regularly I'd seriously consider not going! Not even sure she does blood pressure and measurements correctly anyway, they always contradict the hospital midwives/consultants I see.

I have a useless one too.... i dont even talk when i go in jusat stick my arm out for blood pressure and hold my pee bottle open. There is just no point asking her anything cos she know naff all..... infact i have an appointment tomorrow with her (my last one as then i'll be under the hospital for care) and i'm debating whether to just "forget" to turn up.

I would write a letter of complaint and bullet point all her inadequacies. Stupid woman. A murder is definitely in order. It makes you wonder how some people manage to get themselves out of bed in the morning.

There isn't really much point now, I think they only have 2 there anyway and the other one is always off. I'll just have to cope with the ridiculousness that is her life for a few more weeks. Mind you she does come round the house after the baby is born to check everything is ok, so il have to endure her for longer!! Last time I couldn't wait for her to discharge me, I still had loads of questions but I was like yes I'm fine you toddle along now to some poor pregnant woman xxx
