Unsure: Miscarriage with no period 2 months later

Good morning,

I had a MC in Feb 2012, I saw my period on regular cycle Mar 2012, 28 days after bleeding ending. Its been going 6 weeks now and normally have a regular 28 day period. Now NOTHING for April.

I am not worried that I am preggy. In fact, I would be happy. But I am pensive and so not ready to face any glad or disappointment if any. We werent ready till after summer. Now I am scared to take a preggy test.

My nurse friend told me to take a PT. She said it may not be normal. But I am in denial and want to wait till after a week.

Is this normal? No period after having one? So confused...

Totally normal. M/c really messes with your hormones and your cycles. Your first cycle can be textbook and the next one can be missed completely or really unusual. If you aren't ready to take a PT, don't. Wait. You may have just had a missed cycle.

Thanks for responding... its now 6 weeks....no period.

I finally bought a preggy test. First test was blank so its invalid. I will wait till later to test again.

Not really excited...not anxious.....just confused.

PS. I have never missed a period in my life except for when I was preggy. We'll see...

OMG congratulations!!! They say you are more fertile after a m/c I guess that was true for you!

you are more fertile after pregnancy or after a m/c. I had 2 m/c in a row. I had 2 normal cycles and I'm pregnant. It is very possible to get pregnant or that your period is messed up. Best thing is to do a pregnancy and do blood work.
