I posted recently about my baby measuring pretty far behind even if considering a longer period for conception and implantation. According to my doctors dates, I should have conceived 4 days after my first positive hpt... To top it off I did not have any unprotected sex after the 1st of August and then no sex because of cramping. So there was just no way I could have conceived later. With my son I experienced similar. But he then measured larger in the late first trimester and even bigger later on (He was born at 42+5, I had contractions but labor would not start and was told to wait).
So we were all shocked to see a huge and developed baby yesterday happily wiggling around (including my doctor)...we expected an embryo and saw a fetus.
I am in my 11th week now which would also explain the complete loss of very mild pregnancy symptoms.
One worry we still have is the hematoma that grew in size. I will have another scan on the 9th with another doctor because I am thinking about switching. My current OB does not explain anything about the hematoma...she is nice otherwise but just so vague.

I was very happy with the new doctor today. Took her time, answered all questions, went into detail and seemed knowledgeable about quite a few things. She also wants to see me every two weeks for now (plus US) which makes me feel better having a hematoma. The hematoma is fairly small now (1.5cm) so things are looking good. And...what baffled me most, she was totally PRO pregnancy breastfeeding . My son is 4 and she said it is wonderful and if the milk dries up he can still dry nurse for cuddles. She suggested breastfeeding for so long shrunk my pituitary tumor which is exactly what we thinl at La Leche League too (my case is being studied). She said not breastfeeding in pregnancy is like an old wive's tale by now .
The baby measured even a few days bigger this time. I am not sure if the EDD will be further adjusted but it is so funny because my date for conception totally makes sense now and several doctors did not believe it
I am ready for the second trimester. I can't believe how easy the first trimester was this time!
