***UPDATE*** *NEW TEST* Positive hpt during ovulation?

I'm going to try to make sense of this, so bear with me.
According to my period app, i was supposed to O on the 17th which would put me at 11 dpo. HOWEVER, i had no symptoms of ovulation at that time,( no CM, etc) and since we are not TTC, I don't temp. We dtd on the 16th and 17th, both protected.
I've had LOTs of CM this past week, starting around the 23rd, peaking around the 26th. Today (28th) just for shits and giggles i took a hpt and got a positive result. Has anyone gotten a positive result around O? I realize anything is possible, but my being pg is pretty unlikely?

Our bodies like to surprise us when we least expect it and that look like a nice line for 11dpo....

I would try a different brand to confirm, but unless that's a faulty test it's positive. You don't have to have any symptoms of ovulation and not everyone has fertile cm or the other signs, and even if you usually do, it doesn't mean you will every single cycle

Definitely agree with the other ladies, it’s looking like you OVd around the time your app said, And noticing a change in cm now down to pregnancy - as there’s no denying that bfp! Hope you’re ok x I recently also had a shock bfp x

I thought your FRER would have been more sensitive than the IC, my line in comparison was a lot stronger on the FRER compared to my IC allthough SMu May be why depending on how diluted it was? X

I have had some really clear ICs before but nothing on FRER so they don't work like that for everyone unfortunately. I don't know why though

Well, I haven't had anymore "clear" positives. Couple of super squinters, but I don't trust those. If I O'd when I was suppose to, then I should start my period tomorrow. If not, then I'll give it a week or so more to show up. I think we can mostly agree that it's the limbo that is the hardest part. We weren't planning more, so yes, it would take some getting used to, but I just want to know one way or the other. *sigh*
