I still have itchy armpits with a red rash now. I quit shaving thinking it was just a razor burn but after a week still no change. I took a pill from dr. that was for yeast infections still no change. I also was told to use medicaided powder or baby powder that just made it worse..So I quit using deodarant and haven't worn anything for 2 or 3 weeks now:blush:..gross I know but I am not around ppl often so its not a big deal. It started to get a tad better but I just felt gross so I decided to shave the pits :haha: and check out special deoderants..one called Tom's with no aluminum. I am on day 3 of using this deoderant and things are starting to look up. I am hoping I was just having an allergic reaction to my deo and with this new all natural deo with no aluminum the armpits seem to find some comfort. I still itch but not as bad and the rash is less noticable.

If anyone has experienced this please input whats going on and what have you tried, what helps, and don't help.

I know I post about this issue every once in a while and thought it was time to check in and see if anyone else new is having this issue.

Oh, wow. I've never experienced this, but didn't want to read and run on you. Did you have sensitive skin before you got pregnant? I have very sensitive skin, so I just have to be extra careful about what soaps/lotions I use.
Hope the problem gets better! :flow:

Not rly that sensitive but yea I had somewhat sensitive skin. My dr. doesn't know what it could be so I am hoping this new deoderant will work and so far it has just hoping it doesnt get any worse.

i have eczema and my armpits get itchy and irritated with certain deodorants. i use the toms natural deodorant or the dove sensitive one. try not to wear tight fitting shirts around the arm pit area because it will irritate the skin. :flower:

Omg! I have also had itchy armpits every now and again.. I am 31+3 weeks pregnant and it probably started around 29 1/2 weeks or so. I tend to itch them really good in the shower with soap on them, and then shave.. And then it usually goes away for a couple of days. But sometimes i need to do that a couple days in a row.
It does help, for me anyways though.

Toms is what I have switched too. Dove, sauve, degree, secret they all break me out worse. So far knock on wood toms is working and I hate tight fitted shirts around my arm so thats not an issue :) thanks for the tips.

Aw it's sad to hear this is still bothering you. It mst be so uncomfortable there's nothing worse then itchy armpits. :flow:

old post, i know, but i was searching b&b for this and it's funny i found it! i haven't changed deoderants since getting preggo but my armpits are itching like mad! i can't go without because i can't stand sweating when i'm just sitting around.
