Saw the specialist today and had an ultrasound of Baby BMW (Braden Markus). The ultrasound tech was new, like very very new, so she seemed very confused doing my ultrasound. I dont think she's done an ultrasound on someone with two placentas and a velamentous cord insertion. Specialist came in afterwards to take a peak. She said she was so happy that Im doing so well and that Baby is doing wonderfully, especially given the circumstances. Hes now over 3 pounds (she said hes in the 75th percentile and a month ago he was in the 64th percentile!!!). So thats amazing news right now because given the situation, hes at risk for IUGR. The placentas and cord are holding up well. He was breech last month, but is now head down and seemed very content with his hands up by his face and even a foot. We even got to see him swallow. No signs of abnormalities other then the cord abnormality and placental abnormality. She said its easier to see things on me because Im so petite and a lot of the woman who come in arent, so she can get a very clear picture of whats going on. Starting next month I go in twice a week... hoping to continue getting good news and LO continues to strive.

His 3d pictures today make his face look sooo much chubbier, but here he is. He was being a little difficult as he wanted to hide, but I still adore them. Just to get an idea of how much chubbier his face is, the last picture is from my 25 week scan.

Aww pics are lovely, and so glad to hear everything is progressing well :flower: xxx

glad everythijng went well.. look how cute and squishy your baby looks!!! :haha:

I know... My son had such chubby cheeks when he has a baby. The kind that hang over their so chubby. Oh, I just love looking at those squishy cheeks. I cant wait to meet him and just kiss on them :happydance:

great news, so glad you are both doing so well & he is sooo adorable i love chubby babies, my daughter had the hanging cheek thing too, do you think he looks like your other kids?

Aarr glad everything looking good, I love that 1st pic, he looks like he's filled his mouth up with air ! Lol how cute :flower:

He def. has my dads nose, which my daughter also has my dads side of the families nose, but hers is a more feminine petite version. Def. has my husband and I's bigger lips, and the cheeks, well, those are like my sons. My son has a different bio dad and I know he keeps asking if the baby will have a chance to look like him, so seeing those big chubby cheeks are going to make him very happy.

funny isn't it my daughter desperately wants this lo to look like her too, she looks nothing like me,(except she has my nose) she is just like my hubby so i am secretly hoping this one looks at least a little bit like me but from the 3d photos i think she is going to look just like dd1 & hubby ! my 3d were taken at 25 weeks also & i have booked in to do another one at 32 weeks but privately & its expensive,(havent told hubby) i'm wandering if its worth it what do you think ??

I adore my 3d pictures. With my other two pregnancies they didnt do 3d and I didnt have complications so I only had the 20 week scan.... so Im absolutely in love with getting to see him grow every month (and soon to be weekly!). It is pricey, so i couldnt redeem spending the money monthly and have lucked out my clinic does them with the specialist and I dont get charged, but I think if you have the money doing it in the 3rd trimester would be great. I plan on enlarging all of the good ones from each scan and framing them. I think its a wonderful keepsake and you'll never be able to go back and do it again, so why not?

Aww pics are so cute, adorable! Glad he's doing well! :)

Aww he looks so perfect. I can't stop looking at the 3D pics of my little guy who was almost 3 pounds at his scan a few days ago too. :) So awesome to hear that it is going well for you given the risks but it sounds like he is cruising along with the circumstances without a care in there. YAY!!!!

Awwww!!! Look at that nose!!! He's too stinkin cute! Congrats!

Very cute!! Glad to hear everythings tracking well :)
