i applied 4 a job in a different school and was really hoping 2 get it but have just been called and told that i haven't. am really upset abt it. it must b the pregnancy hormones but i had really set my sights on this job sorry 2 b a whinger, i know this is not the end of the world by any means but i really thought i was in with a chance as i was more qualified. i guess it's not what u know but who u know in this place

it's horrible when you set your sights on something and don't achieve it.

Have you called and asked for feedback about why you did not get the position - especially as you felt you were better qualified??

it's always the way here where we live. it's who u know and the other applicant had been in that school already so rather than bring me in they just kept her.
