kinda anyway lol..
Jacob refuses to attempt to crawl, and prefers to get around by lying on his back and arching his back and pushes his feet against the floor and scoots around the room..we have laminate everywhere so im thinking it may be because its too slippy for him to crawl properly (or hes weird and wants to be different lol)..anyone elses LO move like this and if so do you have laminate too?

looooool. Omar has been doing so for the past 2 mnths. We also have laminate floor, but he can do it on bed & when he's on his playing mat. He also tried it on the Dr. scale yesterday, & he almost fell down.

So the floor has nothing to do with it :D

OH is pleased..as i have now said he can keep the laminate lol..this is the vid i just uploaded to show my Mum, prob explains how he does it better than i tried to lol

looool. Yeah this is how Omar goes. Wait until he tries doing it while nappy changing, once I loosen the nappy, he pushes his feet wanting to crawl backward. Not so cute with a big poop :haha:

Aww thats soo cute lol, scarlett used to sometimes wriggle backwards but nowhere near as good as that, hes got a super little technique going on there! sorry no advice as to whether it because of the laminate just wanted to show how impressed i am lol x

Awwww :) He's a smart one lol

My LO was doing this for a while but has now realised he can get further and do more on his belly. He "crawls" with his knees up and belly off the ground but his arms are flat and his face is usually in the ground :dohh: Or he does his favourite game of using his arms to turn and turn and turn in circles

 That video's prime embarrassment material in years to come.

That being said, Ronan does this as well. We have carpet though and he's usually on a blanket or mat so he doesn't get as far...yet!
