URGENT PLZ! R there any exclusively BF working mums who DONT pump? Help plz

hi my lo is 11months and is bf.he wont take a bottle and it takes me FOREVER to pump just 1oz so gave up on that ages ago. But thing is im back at work on mon which means ill be feedin him about 8am ish then in my lunchbreak about 12-1pm ish then at 4pm wen im bk and once a week at 5pm or just after. Im worried sick he wil go hungry esp in the morning. He usually has 2 biscuits,a bit of egg and toast and boxd cereal between 10 and 12 but bfz b4 that. Not so worried about the afternoon. What do you guys suggest? Do u think he will be ok? He sometimes takes a couple of sips of formula from a sippy cup. I SO wish i combi fed as its stressing me out now. On top of which my toddler starts nursery too and he hates it,cries and smacks ev1. Stressed.com

Don't stress! This is my plan too! And my LO will be five months when I go back. I will have a bottle or sippy cup for him to take between when I offer him feeds but if he won't take them, he will need to wait. I think the solids will be great to tide him over. Maybe offer him more solids during the day and cut back on the evening meal if he has one, and get him to take more milk then. Once my LO is on solids I plan on not leaving milk for him between feeds xxx

Yes! I went back to work when LO was 10 months. I sent him in with formula and a sippy cup as I can't express, but he refused it. So he had a morning bf, then a mid morning snack, then lunch, then I bfed him at 3pm ish when I picked him up, then initially at tea time and bedtime.

My childminder wasn't thrilled with him not taking formula and therefore not having any milk with her, and she tried to demand I express, as if it was that easy (I also lost my freezer supply to excess lipase.) So I consulted an HV who said that he was having plenty of milk for his age and what I was doing was fine.

Don't panic!

You can give cows milk from 12 months, however I gave ds a couple of ounces from about 11 months to get him used to as I had planned to wean him off bf. could you try a little bit of full fat cows milk in a beaker so he can have a drink if needed at nursery?

thanks guys! Am just worried sick he will cry loadz 4 a breastfeed i know he wont take formula!!can any mumz of 11 month olds post a feedin routine? That would be helpful

I went back when DD was 11 months old working morning meaning I was away from her 7am til 2pm. she just adapted to the new routine and had water and solids when away from me and made up her breastfeeds when we where together.

I went back when LO was 11 months too. She was in nursery from 9 until 3.30. Whilst there she ate puree and drank water. I bf about 6.30 while she slept, she had breakfast at about 8.30. Then I bf when we got home, gave her fruit. Then continued our normal routine with dinner and bf. Sometimes with extra feeds if she wanted them.

It does sound like a long time but she also slept between 1 and 3.
