Urine Test: Panic!

Hi All,

I got a letter from my doc yesterday saying that they want me to repeat my urine test they gave me at my booking appointment last week.

I'm freaking out as I don't know what they could have found?!

I know that bubs is OK and is definitely there as I had a scan this week and everything was normal.

Could it be a water infection or something more serious?

Ring your doctors and ask them! I very much doubt they would send you a letter in the post over something serious. Its probably that they messed up the first test so need more wee from you to do it again.

it could be anything, you could've had a little protein in your urine or anything, just call and find out

They've probably lost or spilt the sample or something like that!

You probably dont have anything. The fact the have asked you to repeat sounds like the test was contaminated (there doing). Same thing happened to me.

It's possible they mislaid your test or didn't test it for long enough, so the results they needed weren't available. Try not to worry honey

Hey hun, i had to repeat my urine test again. But they never told me why, i askd my midwife and she replied its just to double check of any water infections. A week later i called up surgery to find out if results were ok. they said it was fine. So it's nothing to worry about hun. tke cares x
