So, apparently, the policy at my hospital is a 48 hour discharge, from delivery. My question is, if I want to be discharged the same day, can I?
For example, if LO is born at 5am, and has been checked over by the pediatrician, and I'm recovering well... can we come home same day?
If LO doesn't show up till the afternoon/evening hours, I would like to stay one night.
Do I have a say in this?
