V early pregnancy and thursh?

Would developing thrush cause problems in very early pregnancy? I'm only 4 weeks and although I'm not certain I've got it I've had some minor irritation...

I had this last week, it was one of the things that made me take a test because I never usually get it. I have no answer but didn't want to read and run x

is it vaginal candida or oral candida? i dont think it will hurt the pregnancy but you need to get it treated because it will get really bad with inflammation and alot of pain which is what happened to me. pregnancy causes them quite often due to the immune system being lowered and all on the baby, and the hormones are all out of whack. canesten is safe to take, do not take monistat. good luck!
