Vaginal discharge sorry tmi

    Sorry TMI

    I am 28+5 and a few hours ago I sat on the floor and felt a gush as if I had wet myself. Went to the bathroom and it was a creamy discharge. Enough to feel it coming down and change my underwear.

    I have rang midwife who has asked me to wear a pad and monitor baby and the amount.

    has anyone had this before? Is it normal to start to get more discharge now?
    It wasn't mucas or anything like the plug from what I remember.

    Yeah increased amounts of discharge is 100% normal.

    If it becomes really watery or stretchy & has blood in it then contact your midwife or local maternity unit for advice.

    but creamy discharge is normal & will increase more over the coming weeks.

    Thank you for your reply, it hasn't happened since, but I will not panic next time! Pheeew! It is the lookout for everything now!
