Ok so i really like this boys name... but here in the UK its not a common name at all. We have no italian connections, its just a name i love. Im concerned that maybe its asking for the child to be bullied having such a name or perhaps sounds chavvy what with the connection with a designer?! or am i overthinking it?! opinions please!:flower:

I love the name!! My boys have got exotic names and I have no connections, I don't think it's chavvy and unique is normal now. Most of the kids in my sons class have unique names xxx

sorry if this sounds a bit offensive but I do think it sounds a bit chavvy because of the designer...

However, I do think it's quite a nice name x

Honestly I do think it would be open to teasing in school (probably not until secondary school) because of the "valentine" aspect of it

I could be wrong but a child with that name would have been ripped to shreds at the school I went to, shame really because it's a lovely name.

I don't think theres anything wrong with the name as such. Im not a fan personally and I would imagination some teasing would take place. which is hard to avoid really in school

I like it, also like the female Valentina. I'm not sure I'd use it without any Italian connections though, but then the Beckhams have a Romeo, I guess it'd be kind of cool :)

I really like it, I love the name Valentina and am wanting to use it as a middle name for a girl if we have one. Hubbys grandparents are Italian though but I would still use it if we didnt have Italian connections too.

Sorry but i do think there could be quite a bit of teasing, but then children are teased for all sorts of reasons & to me personally i think it does sound feminine even though i know its a boys name.
