Interested in peoples opinions on this... I did a FRER on sunday evening which at a guess from last month was 9dpo and got a faint but clear positve, bought a new box of FRER tests to which i used today and it was negative, but I got faint lines on IC yesterday and today, they could be evaps, but im pretty sure they do have colour to them!

So is it possible that the new box of tests just isn't quite as sensitive do you think?

Its entirely possible. The sensitivity number of a test is the minimum sensitivity that it must have, and even two tests in the same box can differ.

For example if you buy a box of test at 25miu then both must sense HCG at levels of 25. But one may actually be 20miu and one 15miu IYKWIM. But you should never find one of that brand that wouldn't read at 25miu.
