Vent/rant about BBT

Beginning to get annoyed with my chart! I had a 0.2 degree rise yesterday, leading me to believe I O'd the day before. Temp was pre-O this morning. I know I'll have to wait and see what the next three days do but UGH!!!! Here's a link to my chart, although I realize there is not much anyone can tell me! LOL

If I had all the signs of O, plus two days of + OPKs and don't actually ovulate I will be one angry momma!

Anyone else need to rant today??

Are you temping vaginally? The month I was temping orally my temps were super wacky. Now, when I temp vaginally my temps are much more clear and consistent.

It looks to me that today may be your ovulation day. You had positive opk yesterday and the day before, right? And a dip in temperature today? This is what leads me to believe that today is the day you're ovulating. You'll know more tomorrow if you temp goes up and stays up for over 3 days, until then I'd continue BD'ing just in case today is O day

It wouldn't be a good idea for me to start temping vaginally now would it? I'm thinking vag temps would be higher than oral. Poop. LOL Hoping my thermometer isn't taking a crap. It's a few years old! LOL ARGH!

I changed my temps. Hahahaha! I think yesterday's was higher than it should've been bc I was awake and trying to get back to sleep for quite a while before I temped (my 1.5 yo DD was awake and I was hoping she would go back to sleep. No sudden movements! LOL!). And this morning I said something to her right before I temped. Things have really went creamy down there which makes me think I O'd yesterday. It would follow my usual pattern. If its off by a day or two shouldn't matter too much, right? LOL
Can you say desperate?!

More or less. Usually right around 7am. Sometimes a 1/2 hour difference. Hardest part is I'm still nursing so DD wakes up and wants to nurse early morning. I'm weaning her from the morning nursing session which means some mornings I am half awake from 5-6 or 6-7. Throws off the temping. :/

I would say wait until the next cycle to change to temping vaginally. It may also be worth investing in a new BBT if yours is a few years old and you think it's on the way out?

Try not to worry too much about the temping. No cycle is perfect; we're always going to have stress/broken sleep/illness to adjust our temps a bit. It's the full picture of the graph and CM observations, along with CP or OPK if you use them, that you need to look at.

Great point! I changed the temps back...felt like I was cheating! Haha! Will see what the next few days bring.
